Volunteer at the Children’s Cancer Run
We have various volunteering opportunities available throughout the year:
- Volunteer at our Children’s Cancer Run – the biggest event in the Children’s Cancer North calendar!
- Encourage our fantastic charity runners as part of a team cheering point during iconic events like the Great North Run
- Engage with the public as part of charity awareness stalls, tombolas, or by promoting our campaign activities in the community
- Support our small but mighty team in the office through administration tasks like raffle ticketing or packing event mailers to our charity runners
- Spread the word about Children’s Cancer North through leaflet distribution
- Volunteer to host a bucket collection and support our fundraising
- Plus lots more!

Why Volunteer?
We truly value those who donate their time to come and volunteer with us. For many people, it provides an opportunity for them to do something positive and contribute to supporting children who are living with cancer and their families. For others, they may simply have spare time that they wish to give to a cause that matters.
