Children's Cancer Run is our charity's most well known and widely recognised event

Now in its special 40th anniversary year, Children’s Cancer Run started out with very humble beginnings at Kings School in Tynemouth where our Chair, Chris Peacock attended as a pupil. Chris had cancer as a child and his school wanted to do something to help. Over time, our event has grown to become the biggest single charity fun run in the UK and has raised over £7.5 million for children’s cancer research when it was part of our legacy charity –  NECCR.
