National Three Peaks Challenge

Fancy climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours?! Why not take on the iconic National Three Peaks Challenge this Autumn? The main climb day will be on Saturday 24th September 2022.

Lead by Orange John qualified, insured and first aid trained guides at a ratio of 1:10, you will hike Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. That’s 26 miles and 3,000 metres of ascent in just 24 hours. A fast-paced challenging event not to be taken lightly but achievable by anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and a desire to succeed.

Help make life better for children with cancer and book yourself onto one of Children’s Cancer North’s three places at a discounted rate of £250. In return, we ask for a commitment from you to fundraise over £500.

What you will receive as part of your package:

Communications from Orange John throughout.
Travel between each destination.
If required, pick up from Glasgow train station, Friday night accommodation, breakfast Saturday morning and travel to Chester train station after finishing.

Once we have confirmed your place, we will let you know how to make the £250 payment.

A note about Orange John:

I’m passionate about supporting Children’s Cancer North because my sister speaks so highly of everything the charity has done and does for our family after my nephew was diagnosed with cancer. Other charities didn’t have the same level of commitment. I want to continually support and show my gratitude for how Children’s Cancer North helped and continue to help families who are going through similar life changing experiences. As a family, we are up to £39,000 in fundraising and with the upcoming Everest base camp the aim is £50k+. By offering these challenges, I’m hoping the power of the ripple effect can raise huge money for Children’s Cancer North long term, far more than I ever could raise single-handed. I’m passionate because I want to make a difference. I have my nephew back and I can never fully repay that, but I’ll try.
