Why should you run for us?

Our charity will fund early phase clinical trials to help to save the lives of children and young people.

Rebecca was diagnosed with the rare soft tissue cancer, Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma in February 2014, just three weeks after her 8th birthday.

Since her initial diagnosis and treatment, Rebecca relapsed three times in 2017, 2019 and 2020. Each time treatment had been successful, a combination of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. She then went on to her fourth course of treatment.

Rebecca’s Mum told us: “The clinical trials are what have kept Rebecca with us, they have saved her life three times. If it hadn’t been for those trials she would not be with us. We feel so grateful that we’ve been able to access it within our country, being able to come home and sleep in her own bed is so important.”

You can help more children like Rebecca by joining our team and raising funds.

Did you know that less than 3% of all funding spent on cancer research in the UK is spent on childhood cancer research?
