Children’s Cancer Run Newcastle

We will send you a box of resources complete with promotional materials to help you spread the word. You can also access our full range of promotional resources further down this webpage, including school assembly presentations tailored for each Key Stage group.
Once your school is registered, participants will be able register via our website - they just need to type your school name and join your online team. Your school will be allocated a single start time so your community can run together.
Runner packs for your school team, including the children's t-shirts, will be sent to your school in early May, along with a list of your runners. Please pass these on to your school team - thank you!
We have a dedicated school meeting area, with A-Z banners, for you to meet your school team or invite families to congregate at before running.
Our Event Village near the finish line will have a family and school reunion area in case you'd like to meet your team after the run. There will be a range of special family friendly activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
We will send you a certificate of achievement, showing how much your school community has raised to make life better for children with cancer.
All schools that take part in the Children's Cancer Run will be invited to send representative teachers and students to a special celebration event in Autumn 2026 to find out more about how the money raised from the event will help to make life better for children and young people with cancer in the North East and Cumbria.
