However you decide to fundraise, every pound that you raise takes us one step closer to making life better for children and young people with cancer in the North East and Cumbria.

We provide support to children and their families going through treatment for cancer, we fund early phase trials and we support research to make treatments less harsh but more effective. Find out more about where your money goes.

Raising funds on-line

When you register online for the Children’s Cancer Run a fundraising page will automatically be created for you and you simply need to start using it. This is the quickest and easiest way to collect sponsorship. You can easily share your page with friends, families and colleagues and there is no cash to collect as all of the funds come direct to Children’s Cancer North. If you registered off-line, or you aren’t sure how to activate your page, please contact us at ccrun@childrenscancernorth.org.uk for help.

Some top tips:

  • Adding photos and videos to your on-line page can really boost your sponsorship
  • Share your page with all of your contacts on social media and via email
  • Let people know that their donation will be helping more children with cancer
  • Check if your employer offers match funding

Sponsorship form

You can download a form here if you would like to fundraise by using a paper sponsor form.

Other fundraising

Sometimes people prefer to sponsor you in person. You can download your sponsor form above, print it and take it out and about with you. If collecting sponsorship is a little daunting, you may like to think about other ways to raise funds.

We have loads of ideas to help you on the way – find out more here (scroll to the bottom of the page for the A-Z of fundraising tips.)

Why fundraise?

Childhood cancer remains the leading cause of non-accidental death among children in the UK. Your fundraising will help more children like Rebecca beat cancer. Read Rebecca’s story here.
